Album Reveiw by Classic Rock Society

I LOVE this review of my album and just wanted to share it with you!!! xx

Classic Rock Society, December 2009 Issue

Odette Just Me Marbles Records

Having been born in Italy, lived in the States and now living in England you could well understand why Odette Albani would put an album together that gathers together several styles of rock. There is a glossy country edge, an indie edge too but she could well be a straight ahead pop rocker. Her influences are to be admired; The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Tears For Fears are four big names and I for one think that¹s a good mix.

This is a very good mix of fifteen songs with a guitar orientated sound with some subtle organ in there too but obviously it is Odette, the person and more so the voice that sells the album. I cannot think of too many female singer songwriters that have been successful in capturing a quality blend of music from their influences and at the same time stamping her own mark on it. Odette has done just this and if you see her album of the shelves be brave and get a copy! MH
